Everything was so good! I wish I had thought to take pictures before diving in. Pad tai and basil egg plant were standout dishes. The roti was awesome as well, really glad we got it. I'm sure I'll be back.

Been here several times now. My daughter loves the wonton soup. I usually get the drunken noodles and my hubby switches up the curry and eggplant dish. The food has been consistent. I've only eaten in once because this place is so tiny...maybe a few tables as others have mentioned. So it's usually take out for us. Also, the parking lot is tricky...very few spaces to accommodate several businesses. And then that tiny parking lot is flanked by one way streets, so be careful you're going in the right direction when you exit! I didn't take any stars off for that as that clearly wouldn't be fair. Customer service is always polite. Will definitely remain a regular. If you're looking for a new Thai place to try or happen to be in the hood, check it out!

Best Thai in the area! Friendly and family-oriented staff. :) Prices are reasonable for the quality. The Tom Kai soup-chef's kiss.

I stopped in on a whim and the food was fantastic. I had a panang shrimp curry and it was spot on with flavor and heat. The coconut ice cream is delicious. I'd come back even just for the ice cream.

If you're in the Azusa area, this small hole in the wall is an absolute MUST. Satu Thai Bistro offers a huge menu full of delicious Thai favorites like roti, mango sticky rice, various curries, and so much more. We ordered 8 items for the 4 of us and we absolutely cleared each plate. Not to mention the whole meal only costed $100 which is SUCH a great deal for the food quality and portion sizes. Service was amazing. The waitress was very friendly and patient. The food came out piping hot in just a few minutes. Service was so fast- we were all very impressed. Pad see ew with beef (medium) - 9/10 The noodles were soft and chewy with a nice soy sauce flavor that tasted very similar to chow fun. The scrambled eggs were slightly sweet and complemented the noodles. Some pieces of the beef were on the drier side but still a great protein choice. Pad thai with chicken - 10/10 I always order pad thai at Thai restaurants but rarely ever find anything special about them. This was the exception. The noodles were incredibly saucy and full of flavor in each bite. Panang curry with chicken (medium) 9/10 Though all of the dishes were ordered as medium, this was more like a medium hot. The curry was so spicy and strong coconut milk flavor. It went perfectly over a bed of white rice. Basil egg plant with tofu - 9/10 I thoroughly enjoyed this dish. The tofu was fried so the exterior was crunchy while the interior was spongy and on the drier side. The sauce was so aromatic and the basil really shined through. The eggplant was gooey and soft. Mango sticky rice - 10/10 The sticky rice had a strong salty flavor which contrasted well with the sweet coconut sauce. The mango was in season and incredibly sweet all on its own. Coconut icecream - 10/10 This was the best homemade coconut icecream I've ever had. It reminds me of Tukie's coconut icecream I had in Bali but this was BETTER. The bits of coconut inside were a nice surprise that added a crunchy texture. The coconut was so rich and milky. Definitely order this with the mango sticky rice. Support your small local businesses and give this local Thai place a shot. They are quite popular with takeout orders but nothing beats eating their food fresh in their restaurant. The dishes are high quality and really delicious especially for the price point. I will definitely be here next time I visit So Cal.

This restaurant is very small and has a limited seating area. Luckily when the three of us arrived there was a table available during dinner time. I ordered my favorite Chicken Pad Thai, Satu special fried rice, and Tom kha kai soup. The waitress asked how spicy do you want the soup I requested it to be medium. The food was delicious and flavorful throughout and that medium level chili in the soup was burning my mouth.

I placed a to go order online and food was already ready when I arrived. The restaurant is very small, I took a glance and saw about only a handful of tables so I'm glad I did takeout. The employee who gave me the order was friendly. I ordered the chicken satay, shrimp fried rice, green curry with chicken and pad see ew with chicken. Everything tasted fresh and had great flavor! My husband who is not a huge fan of Thai food even enjoyed it. My favorites were the shrimp fried rice and green curry. I am a huge baby when it comes to spice. However, I do appreciate a small kick so I did mild spice for both the green curry and pad see ew. The pad see ew was way too spicy for me. It tasted good but as soon as the spice kicked in, I could not taste my food anymore. I will skip out on the spice for that next time. I also ordered Thai tea with boba and it was perfect! This restaurant is located in the tiny shopping center off of Sierra Madre between Azusa and San Gabriel streets. It is a random location but so conveniently close to me, I'll definitely be back! Parking is actually not too bad as there is a proportionate amount of parking spaces to the amount of small businesses there.
